At the heart of our growth, our Business Development Manager excels in building lasting connections with potential partners, driving sales initiatives, and refining our communication strategies to expand our reach and impact.
Now, let's step away from the professional side and get to know the person behind the title. Join us as our Business Development Manager shares personal insights, interests, and what drives him both inside and outside of work.
Sarvi: Let's start with a small introduction. What's your name and what do you do on the Rasa Design Team?
Zakhar: Hi, my name is Zakhar. I'm a Business Development Manager here. Basically, I work closely with you, our Marketing Manager, and Rosty, our CEO, to bring in new, innovative, and exciting projects to our design team. So yeah, I try to make our designers' lives more interesting.
Sarvi: And you're surely the best at this.
Zakhar: Thanks a lot.
Sarvi: If you weren’t in business development, who would you be?
Zakhar: Great question. If we're talking about childhood dreams, I definitely would have been a professional football player since I’m obsessed with football—I love both playing and watching it. But seriously, I’m happy with who I am right now and where I am. If I were to try something new, I think I’d go super crazy and wild. I’d put my current role aside and go on a TV show, like MasterChef. I think that would be a great experience.
Sarvi: (laughs and says something in Ukrainian)
Zakhar: (laughs too)
Sarvi: Just a few weeks ago, Zakhar celebrated his birthday, and we gifted him a football jersey from our hometown football club, Karpaty, a.k.a. Zeleni Levy.
Zakhar: Yeah, it was great. Thanks a lot.
Sarvi: Yeah, we’re that cool.
“The best life hack I’ve learned is to put a ton of effort into connecting with new people and maintaining relationships with those I already know. It might sound obvious, but it’s something people often overlook in practice. So yeah, communication is key.”

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Sarvi: Zakhar, if you could switch roles with anyone on the Rasa Design Team for a day, who would it be and why?
Zakhar: I’d say Rosty, our CEO. It would be a great experience to try being the CEO of a design agency, even for just one day. Why wouldn’t I switch with our designers? I’m pretty sure that in just one day, I’d manage to mess everything up—enough to lose both our projects and clients! Switching roles with you would be interesting too, but since our roles already overlap a lot, I’ll stick with Rosty.
Sarvi: Let’s move on to the next question. What’s your guilty pleasure?
Zakhar: My guilty pleasure has to be watching TV shows. Right now, I’m really into Emily in Paris. I know it’s not a new one, but it’s a great way for me to relax and unwind after a long day.
Sarvi: And last but not least, share with us your best life hack.
Zakhar: The best life hack I’ve learned is to put a ton of effort into connecting with new people and maintaining relationships with those I already know. It might sound obvious, but it’s something people often overlook in practice. So yeah, communication is key.
Sarvi: That’s why you work in business development, I guess.
Zakhar: Yeah, for sure.
